Very nice frame for the price. Came packaged well in shipping..As usual. The box was beat to hell, but the frame was good. So if it shows up in good condition, then the frame is well worth it. If the drive is smoking crack and breaks it, not so much.I used this frame for my own painting on a pre-stretched canvas from a craft store and it fit perfectly. It gives my painting a very finished look. I will buy more!Cumplió mis espectativas, gracias!I was skeptical in purchasing this frame due to the reviews, but I decided to purchase it anyway and I'm glad I did. It was packaged well and the plexiglass was wrapped on both sides to prevent any scratching during delivery. Other reviews mentioned it broke when applying the hanger, but that is a fault with the buyer and not the manufacturer. My husband just used his hands to push in the hanger, but if you need to use a hammer then GENTLY TAP it in so as not to destroy the frame. I used it to frame a puzzle and it worked perfectly. I will definitely be ordering more when needed. No, I didn't use glass, but I didn't want it, and I did upgrade 3 of them (of 5 total) to the acrylic and completed my own custom framing job for a tiny fraction of what a store would have cost me, and they look great. I was framing vintage poster prints, and my word, art.com wanted 3 times what I ended up paying, for basically the same thing. Specifically, I was really happy with the quality and look of these frames for the price. I looked around for a while and didn't know what I was going to get in person, but they compliment my dining room well - simple and sleek, but not too plain. And I love that they came with all the hardware I needed, and though I wasn't thrilled with putting on the D-rings myself, Craig's website had easy-to-follow instructions. I'm also not sure it's essential to upgrade from the plastic to acrylic, but my huge windows were going to be shining right on these, so to be safe, I did. There's still glare, though maybe not as much, and the clarity does look good. Craig had them pretty well protected and everything was together - custom mats plus acrylic, so it was relatively easy to put in my prints and hang them.Frame was perfect for my odd sized print I made 21x24. This frame worked for me. All I needed was a flat head screwdriver, pliers & scissors. Assembly was simple. Hardest part was attaching the hanging wire on the back.Lovely am so happy with final product. FYI the clear window is plexiglass, pliable and covered with protective film both sides.Exactly what I neededVery well built.
